Remains

Just received the ashes of my son. So hard.

Because the Lord has anointed me
to comfort all who mourn;
to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.

Isaiah 61:1, 3

Oh, Lisa. I'm so,so sorry. I'm brokenhearted for you...as a friend and as a mom. Like so many others, I wish I could be there to help in any way, but know that you are covered in prayer and cries out to God for mercy and grace. You're in my thoughts constantly. Love you.

"For the LORD comforts Zion; he comforts all her waste places and makes her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of a melody."

Lisa,
I found your blog through a dear friend, Amy Mozombite. I actually went to highschool with Scott. I've been crying as I read back through the last month of your blog posts. I'm soo very sorry for the loss of your sweet little boy.

Please know that my prayers are with you and Scott.

Blessings,
Katie Zouhary Seevers

I have been reading your blog and praying for all of you this last week.(I heard about your baby and your blog through Bethlehem Baptist's newsletter). I am so, so sorry to read today about your loss of Zion. I prayed for you all last night when the Lord brought you to my mind after being awaken in the night...a glimpse of His tenderheartedness to harken His own to pray to Him for another of His own. I will continue to pray for you...I will.
with heartfelt words, Heather
